Man suffers multiple gunshots in botched Newark robbery
A 25-year-old man was shot several times as three men tried to rob him in Newark Wednesday night, police said.
The man was in the area of Lincoln and West Kinney streets about 8:30 p.m. when the trio tried to rob him and he resisted, Detective Hubert Henderson said. He was shot in the torso.
