Bamboo does not need pesticides or herbicides to grow. Similar to grass bamboo grows from its roots and unlike hardwood trees it grows back after it has been cut and can be harvested every year thereafter. Bamboo grows much faster than trees and takes between three to six years to mature.
Bamboo grows in its native locations of South America and Asia. Its commonly used in homes as a primary material for building. Concrete steel and timber are also popular choices but for those looking for green solutions there is no match for bamboo. Bamboo bathroom cabinets floors walls and more are all implemented and even scaffolding and structural supports are made from bamboo.
