Tancredo trying for the Presidential SPOTLIGHT! Using Newark Killings to Force his own Political Agenda.

Tom Tancredo is a completely ridiculous for making those unscrupulous statements about Newark being the blame for illegal immigration. I am disgusted at his attempt to put his name into the spotlight in order to give himself some hope in being a factor in the Presidential race come 2008. The race so far has centered on Barak Obama, Hilary Clinton, and Rudy Giuliani. This man is trying to use this tragedy to shift focus in his direction to attract a bigger audience. Not to mention, immigration is not a problem that can be curbed by local politicians alone, especially when our borders are scarcely guarded. Not to mention, no foreign country even borders the state of New Jersey or New York. Why didn’t he mention Texas, California, Florida, and New Mexico? These states above all are hot beds for illegal entry into this country. Immigration is a federal problem that no president has been able to properly tackle since the Japanese were illegally held in concentration camps during the World War. I myself will not feed into this cockamamie plan that Tancredo is trying to launch.

Things like this make people increasingly disgusted with those who want to represent us as our leaders. Tom Tancredo would have done a lot better to sit down next to Natasha Aerial and hug her and utter the phrase “We’ve got them all”, because that’s the more important thing about Newark today. Police departments here in New Jersey and across the northeast of the United States apprehended six murder suspects in less than a month. SIX. How many times have we seen murder suspects in Newark go free? And rather than congratulating Mayor Booker and the people who helped to close the manhunt, he spits in our face with his sweeping indictment.

What about the people dying in Iraq, both American and foreign? Our going to Iraq was to help increase the quality of life in Iraq. Gas still costs $3 or more in most states in the union, education is failing in almost all predominantly minority townships and cities, healthcare stinks, social security is dead, the economy is consistently dipping lower and lower, and Newark, the largest city in one of the smallest states of 50 is to blame for immigration failing. There are far more pressing issues that a presidential hopeful can focus his campaign on. TOM TANCREDO. GIVE ME A BREAK. YOU DISGUST MY FELLOW NEWARK RESIDENTS AND ME!
