A bizarre and deadly accident in New Jersey. A man was shot behind the wheel in Newark. His car then went out of control and hit two people. Now police are hunting for the gunmen, while the victim’s family is speaking out.
Eyewitness News reporter Patricia Wu is live in Newark with more.
Police say that the two people who were hit by the vehicle were boys, they were actually brothers. They were both taken to University Hospital and are expected to be okay.
Now police are still searching for the passengers who were in the out-of-control car and they’re also still looking for the shooter, trying to find out the motive. It’s a question that the dead victim’s family also wants to know. “They say the good die young,” said the victim’s father Mark Ventura.
