Christopher was shot in the chest about 3 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Fairmount Avenue, near South Orange Avenue, and was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later, police said.
Neighbors said a group pursuing Christopher fired shots at him.
“He was being chased by multiple assailants; the rest is still under investigation,” Loriquet said.
