Latino/a Arts Festival at Rutgers-Newark
Rutgers-Newark will host its second day of the two-day Latino/a Arts Festival tomorrow. Admission to the festival is free to the public.
A festival and community resources fair will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 2:30 p.m. to 4 pm, on Samuels Plaza, in front of the Paul Robeson Campus Center, 350 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd, in Newark.
Featured artists for the main festival on October 8 include HBO def jam and Nuyorican poet, director and performer, Caridad de la Luz aka la Bruja, master puppeteer Laurencio Ruiz, salsa, marinera, festejo negro and LSU regional step dancers.
