Bicycle Mark at Citizen Reporter was kind enough to get in touch a few days back and get my thoughts on the closure (or, it seems, loss of services) at Saint James Hospital.

  1. Thanks to you Ken, for taking the time. Unfortunately I was very sad to learn that the closing had taken place late last week. ITs frustrating to think that the community I grew up in no longer has its hospital. Makes me call into question any notion of Newark making a come back or moving forward… this is most definitely a step backwards.
