NJ Devils invite Newark students to a game to honor academic achievements

The result of a partnership between the Devils and the Newark Schools, 3,600 students from grades 3 to 12 will receive a personal letter from the team inviting them and one guest to a game in March. The partnership is a pilot program launched in October to reward students for their achievements and draw attention to community alliances aimed at fostering academic success, according to Newark Superintendent Clifford Janey.
