New York Times: Baked Treats of Portugal

The main shop on Ferry Street, which has about 20 cafe tables, is where Teixeira’s bakes pastries, like its popular pasteis de nata and its flaky custard cup with a creamy eggy filling that is caramelized on top ($1 each or $4.65 for 6).

The Times highlights one of the Ironbound’s favorite bakeries.
